2021年，廣美-威爾士藝術與設計國際學院正式成立，兩校借助此平臺開展海外藝術設計學術交流，相互輸送和培養本科、研究生及博士階段人才，共同搭建一個華南地區中英藝術設計培訓基地。廣美-威爾士國際學院目的是為了切實地推進廣州美術學院和英國高等藝術學府的海外合作和國際化進程，并達到深層次學術交流和可持續性發展。

UWTSD-GAFA INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN was officially established in 2021. The two universities will conduct overseas academic exchanges in art and design through the International College, exchange and jointly cultivate talents from bachelor, master to doctoral levels, to jointly build a Sino-British art design training base in South China. The purpose of the International College is to promote the overseas cooperation and internationalization between GAFA and UWTSD, and to achieve deep academic exchanges and sustainable development.
